She was running for a train in Florence. He was standing there, minding his own business.
She crashed into him — gelato first. His shirt was ruined.
Her dignity was gone. He laughed anyway.
Turns out they were on the same delayed train to the Amalfi Coast.
One apology turned into three hours of talking, laughing, and accidentally falling for each other.
By the time the train stopped, they had dinner plans.
They've been inseparable ever since.
Moral of the story:
sometimes you have to miss a train to find the one.
